Important note for all products
The People’s Fabric predominantly sources textiles from various villages in West Borneo, with occasional global guests from other regions – the textiles are made by a variety of different people who use a variety of different dyes so each piece is unique. The complex process of making ikat requires high levels of skill, as each is handmade and hand dyed. Because of this, there may occasionally be slight imperfections in the artwork – whilst these are minor, we believe this simply contributes to each piece’s story.
Caring for your piece
Your piece can be spot cleaned with warm soapy water or hand washed in cold water. Note that colour from the ikat fabric may run and regular washing will cause the ikat to fade.
